Oh Bob! The filming gig sounds fab. I have everything crossed for you.

You must know by now waterboarding lemurs is best done after kids are in bed.
That or you play 'Roxie needs a bath' with a washing up bowl and DD in 'control' . Mine used to camp out by the washing machine to see Aubrey and Ferdinand and Elvis go round in the spin cycle. They got more upset by me hanging them up by the ears on the washing line (the bears, not the kids).

    Hi All

Super quick post as I am running a bit behind for leaving the house. Will have to use fingers of fire to get this one down!!

    Wealth

    * Scored a 200 point free coupon at Mr S under their random points give away. Had them added on at the CS desk.

    * All reciepts checked off for current account.

    * Both sets of banking checked.

    * Small cancellation which I was half expecting. Loss of £50.

    * Another viewing booked in for the weekend. Business worth £100 if successful.

    Health

    * All members of Team Bob are fine. Although in further news of Roxie the Pink and Purple Ring Tailed Lemer, she was dropped in the frozen foods aisle today and almost lost forever!!! It was only due to me realising we were a man down on route to the exit and running back to look for her. Very kind CS lady said 'is this what you are looking for?' YES!!!!!

    Organisation

Wanted to crack on today as I really enjoyed my weekend last week and although I have some work bits to do, it isn't much so saving time today for when everyone is around tomorrow.

    * Hoovered top to bottom, including the porch and utility areas which don't always get included.

    * Washed kitchen and downstairs loo floors.

    * Two loads of washing done and hung out.

    * Dry washing packed away.

    * DW on, through and packed away.

    * DW salt topped up. Took around 1.5kg of a 3kg pack. DW back on an intensive cycle empty, to get rid of nasties.

    * Food shopping done. Shopped for 3 days worth of meals including tonight. Menu as follows:

Friday night Sheppards pie with sweetcorn & green beans.

Saturday night Home made quarter pounder with salad and chips.

    Sunday night Roast chicken dinner.

I plan to keep back enough chicken to do at least another night of meals if not two, but will need more fresh ingredients to go with that.

    * Bought new batteries for a 'lovely' children's musical book so DD can enjoy if Your Happy And You Know It, the rest of us can go and hide in a nuclear bunker to avoid the noise.

    * Meters read and readings sent to utility company.

    * Useful discussion with OH about the account switch, a job that needs doing at the premises, it's always great to chat things through and it always saves me money.

All very positive sounding Bob... except for the cancellation.. boo to that one!

Next 3 days food sound very comforting :D xx

  • Thank goodness Roxie was found, nothing worse than misplacing a favourite toy - my ds lost his Winnie the Pooh in Manchester airport but after a quick search we found him in the shop. Winnie has been his faithful friend for years but dd has gone through different favourites over the years.

Another busy day, bad news on the booking but sending positive vibes for the new enquiry and the potential filming. Dinners for the next few days sound yummy.

    Hope you've had a good day, H x
  • Belated Happy Anniversary Bob. Sorry I wasn't on yesterday to wish it to you. DH and I got married on our 10th anniversary of being together, so we still just have the one anniversary and both of us are rubbish at remembering it.
So pleased Roxie didn't manage to make her escape from you and dd...
