just followed that link to the boots site and they say it's a skin therapy cream. £4.49 for 200ml. That's daylight robbery! What you need is the 500ml tub, doesn't look as pretty but exactly the same stuff and as i say just under £2 in both tesco's & asda or was when i last got some a month ago.

Right it took me most of the evening but I have sorted out my make up and nail stuff, I have a pile to ebay and a pile to give away to family and friends that I never use but that cant be put on ebay, My make up case is looking rather empty now but I am reminding myself quality over quantity!!! Plus any money I make can go on new make up in the new year to replace some of the stuff I will have used up by then. :j

    :T You go girl! :T

That's the way to do it - as Mr Punch would say. :p:D

I had another look myself last night and I have a Bobbi Brown eye shadow palette that I've only tried out once or twice, so I'll put that on at the weekend.

I'm pretty sure everything else I've got is one of my staples or it's unsaleable.

But I'm wearing lipgloss right now in front of my computer at 5am because:
    1. It's moisturising and I'm out of lip balm
    2. I'm trying to use all the damn things up! ;)

Oh this thread is so me!!
I stopped buying during the giving up money for Lent challenge and still haven't got round to last year's Christmas gift sets!

Have fallen off the wagon a couple of times but making some progress:j

Now I'm inspired to ebay & recycle for Christmas. I so want to use up/get rid so that I can buy myself to one or two real treats!

PS Touche eclat up to 20% off plus £5 YSL gift at Debenhams during their special shopping days this week - don't mean to put temptation in front of anyone though:rolleyes:

Oh how fabulous! I may not have to do without for much longer then.

I can't believe I coughed up for an inevitably crappy and superfluous Virgin Vie palette only days before I ran out of my daily essential Touche Eclat.

And I need a cut and colour, and I was hoping to find the dosh to get my eye lashes and brows tinted as well as an extra special Christmas party treat.

It's an expensive business being a girl!

    Jacks,

So sorry, I didn't get home from work until 11pm and I am now back in the office (the joys of being a city worker!) so i haven't had time to check my make up cupboard for the touch eclat. I promise I will tonight though.

They're not really suitable for xmas hampers (my friends would no longer be my frends!) so does anybody have any suggestions of alternative uses for spot creams that don't work. I have five that seem to sit there smirking at me every time I open my make-up draw.

  • If the spot stuff are creams then you could use them as hand cream but if they are gel or liquid then I have no idea what you could use them for, sorry, will keep thinking, x

lol Bellie - I have the lot! I'd not thought about using as hand cream, wouldn't they be a bit drying?

But then you could use up some surplus proper hand cream to counteract the drying! Double whammy of using up!
