CCL - I think you should run yourself a warm bubbly bath, maybe even a strong drink, and just chill out.

Gosh I'm feeling very run down and tired this morning. It's all getting a bit much again in terms of balancing everything that I've got on the go. Work - far too difficult. Home - hard. Me - not in a great place mentally. The world in general - too much hatred going on. It is Wednesday so always a struggle, but I have already been in tears once this morning. I think I am unwell full stop but there's a lot of uncertainty going on, which I just don't have any control over and I don't manage very well. I still don't know what's happening with work and it's half term next week. That's the time when next year's plan and calendar should be all done and ready to go. And just silence.

Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
Cat I'm so glad that all the kids at your school who went to the concert are ok. You are right it is hard to think about anything else at the moment.

I'm sorry you are feeling so down and exhausted. It's good you have a colleague to confide in.
You are amazing Cat, everytime I read your diary I think the same. Although you may not feel it at the moment, that is how others see you. Big hugs.

Thanks Bob - I really appreciate it. Quite often I feel as though I'm swimming in treacle - trying really hard to get somewhere but making really slow progress. I'm so tired, and at the point where a good night's sleep really doesn't help and I don't feel rested. I just want to stay at home all day and crochet - nothing wrong with that other than it won't pay the bills. I was just saying, it's all this uncertainty that I can't stand. Whilst I deal with whatever life chucks in my general direction, I much prefer a general plan of what's coming up and what to expect. Way too many unknowns in all aspects of life. I think I need to make the effort to get my book about anxiety out again and look at it.
At the moment I have a free lesson - with a massive list of things to do and I'm just staring at it procrastinating rather than actually making a start. Best get on really - I'll feel better if I get one thing ticked off the list.

    Morning all :coffee: (just about)
I'm struggling and making my way to half term. I feel ok at the moment but to be fair it hasn't been a particularly taxing day so far. I didn't sleep well so am quite tired and irrational.
On the plus side, I've done most of my planning for after the hols so fingers crossed I can enjoy a little bit of down time over the hols. I'm completely skint and desperately awaiting payday now (roll on Wednesday). I'm way too tired to be getting anything much done at home either, so housework is not happening. Ah well. I'm still here and still plodding on, and trying to remember that I appreciate the good times more because I have experienced the not-so-good times.

Oh - I forgot to say about my gorgeous kids - not. DS was so badly behaved last night that he told me he would rather be in foster care than be with a parent like me.
And dd had to go and be fitted for her new school uniform that cost £75 for 1 blazer, 1 tie and 3 pairs of trousers which probably cost 50p to make and they are charging £16 a pair for. Bless her - she hates it. Then she smacked her brother in the face for being horrible to me. Sake...

Home. Done for the night. Trying to enjoy the last of the sun and relax a bit, but worried I might fall asleep. Nothing to report. Still feeling tired, and still feeling quite down as well. I'm going to get on with my crochet I think.

Sorry that things are so rough for you at the moment CCL, I don't feel like there's much I can say to help, but just wanted you to know I'm still reading and have everything crossed that things get better for you soon, and that you manage to have a rest over half term.

I would like to echo what kirstypoos said. Hope you're feeling a bit better today and manage to enjoy a bit of the weather while it lasts.
