Clothing dye transfer onto designer handbag - help please!
Comments
-
When walking, the bag rubs back and forth on your clothes, so I assume this action would cause dye to transfer. To get the same affect on a sofa or car seat, you would have to find a light coloured one, then wiggle your bottom from side to side say 1000 times.
I have seen dye transfer occur simply when clothing is in contact in a pile with no movement. Especially when a little moisture is involved.
Of course, if the OP has no sweat glands, this will not occur but all other humans seem to sweat and it has been very hot lately.
Anyway, the OP has not been back and I doubt she will be, so it is all academic anyway.0 -

Quite, there's something troll like about the thread.0 -

Why so? Where is the commandment which says "thou shalt only carry a £1000 handbag if thou art wearing an outfit of similar value"?
Yesterday I wore a pair of M&S jeans with a pair of sandals which cost 20 times their price. Today I'm wearing a ring on one hand which is worth 400 times the price of the bracelet round my wrist.0 -

Not sure why you would think I would be the least bit interested in what you wear.
