    Taken from land registry :
As of July 2016 the average house price in the UK is £216,750, and the index stands at 113.68. Property prices have risen by 0.4% compared to the previous month, and risen by 8.3% compared to the previous year.

Over a decade and still the same circular threads. This was one of my favourites from the early days back in 2004. How times change.....

I`m on about sales volumes. Why not share your wisdom in this area, in between polishing your big shoes and putting on face-paint....:rotfl:

Oh so I prove that house prices have increased and now it's all about volumes... because we now measure the avg house price via volume sold rather than just looking at ACTUAL SOLD PRICES :rotfl:

You asked for actual sold price data. I gave you sold price data.... Apparently I'm the one with the face paint? :rotfl:
  • What's your BCR Crashy?

How much do prices have to fall for selling up in the 1990s to look smart today? Is it 130% like I guessed a while back?

What would the bottom look like inflation adjusted for average property price to match the botom of the 90s crash?

Maybe under £100k average property price for the UK? Not too far off if the falls continue at this rate for next few years.
Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future
