Whatever the action verb
, the natural reaction when spotting any form of speed enforcement is to ease off, before looking down at the speedo, so she would have been travelling at a higher indicated speed when/if they pinged her.
Just wait it out, they won't prosecute unless her actual speed was over 46, which would have been near 50 on the speedo, and then they should offer a course rather than points.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

I would think it it highly unlikely she will hear anything as their equipment is set at 10% + 2 MPH
The 10% + 2 is simply a guideline and is sometimes used for fixed speed detection equipment but it's far from guaranteed that the mobile setup that the OP's wife went through had this tolerance applied.0 -

True, the equipment won't be set in that way.
However, the important thing is that the guidelines seem usually to be followed pretty rigidly in deciding whether to take action.
It's pretty irrelevant in the OP's case as all we know is the speed indicated when his wife decided to look at the speedo, which may have been some time after being "nicked".

suspect we'll know in the next couple of days.0

Please keep in mind she has only recently swapped from a bubble shaped micra to a focus 2.0!
Roaring is not something that happens naturally in a micra!
I wouldnt trust the app on your phone. Its not accurate enough.
However I suspect its more accurate than the speedo of a 17 year old focus :-)
But a 1L Micra can do 47 in a 40 also. and 90 in a 40 if you so desire.
Currently out and about early with barely any traffic, 3 days this week the same BMW has overtaken me at close to double the speed limit (best guess) and twice he was sitting at the lights having broken the limit for no reason advantage.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
