There seems to be a bit of confusion going on here. Going back to the original post:I have just updated my laptop to Windows 10 using a link supplied on here a couple of months ago so I can burn an Windows 10 disk.
You updated the operating system on your laptop to Windows 10 just so that you can burn a Windows 10 DVD...?
You know you can do that in Windows 7 or 8, right?
And why do you want an installation DVD if you have already performed the installation?0 -

No - I upgraded to Win 10 because I wanted to I then wanted to burn the CD in case I ever wanted to reformat and my computor returned to Win 7 and I would not have to pay for Win 10.0 -

As far as I know, you'll be able to download the ISO whenever you need it. And the image gets updated over time, so you won't need to install hundreds of Windows Updates with a new ISO.0 -
