umm if you click on the media creation tool it will download it to your machine , you then click run and follow destructions


it will download win 10 to your machine into a directory then ask if you want dvd or penfdrive and burn it

So I have to download Win 10 all over again.

how else can you burn it to a dvd?

1. Run the media creation tool.
2. Select Create installation media for another PC.
3. Choose the language, edition, and architecture (64-bit or 32-bit) for Windows 10.
4. Follow the steps to create the installation

But I have already upgraded to Win 10

So have you got a .iso file already downloaded?
If so then can't you just locate it in File Explorer, right click and select "Burn to Disc"?

there will then be another posting saying "how do I make a iso bootable"

You have 10 yes....with me so far? Why do you want to download it again? Create a system image of the running system for when your system goes tits up...thread closed move on.
