Best 7 seater car

Hi
I shall need a 7 seater car, all 7 seats will be used twice a day. What car would you recomend?
The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer - I was in my late 20s when I figured out what this meant.

I neither take or enter agreements which deal with interest. I dont want to profit from someone's misery.

    For what ages?

The best are probably Kia Sorento, Ford S-Max.

Ideally, I would like a 2, 2, 3 seat positioning, what cars have these positions?
Ideall, No more than 2 litre diseal (so its cheaper to run).

Users will be older children and teens (no younger children) so getting to the back seats comfortably is important.

But, if you're using all seven seats that regularly then a full time, larger MPV will be better (rather than the part-timers like C4 Grand Picasso etc). Something like VW Caddy Maxi, Citroen Dispatch Combi or Kia Sedona.

Edit. We have a C4 Grand Picasso and as a part time 7 seater it is our preferred option after testing loads of them. The rear most seats can fit an adult but not in complete comfort.

Toyota Previa (diesel version) all day long. Great car with loads of space. We had the 8 seater and it was perfect.

I drive a Peugeot Expert Tepee (mine's an 8 seater, can be a 9 seater). Love it, would def buy another. Had it for 5 years now.

I'd look at that & the other van base people carriers for what you need.

VW T5, configured as a minibus (e.g kombi, shuttle, caravelle). VW offer a lot of seating options between six and eleven seats. Yes they are bigger than some of the other options but if you're regularly moving seven of you then you may welcome the extra space.

We loved our Toyota Previa when we needed 7 seats. Before that we had vans that were converted to put seats in - perfectly safe if done properly, much cheaper than a big car; not as comfy - but we were younger!

I'd recommend one like mine. It will go virtually anywhere.

I can only really comment on SUVs.

My Toyota Landcruiser ('baby' version) was 2, 3, 3 - but the children in row 3 would have to be dwarfs. The kids hated it. The middle seats in the sorento slide, so giving more space to row three - making it much better . Sorento is 2.2 diesel. There is also a Santa fe built on the same platform and with the same engine. Kia get a 7 year warranty, and hyundai 5 year.

If you want an MPV rather than an SUV then there are more options, as others on the thread have highlighted.
