Tracking FedEx from China? (ebay)

The parcel was signed for at your address - that is good enough for any carrier, it doesn't need to be you in person.
The higher weight may be the volumetric weight. Parcels especially when travelling by air are charged at the higher of actual weight and volumetric weight. Large but light parcels are charged to reflect the size they take up.
Any news from Fedex regarding your missing items?0 -
No news today as of yet.
Is that 0.45kg the actual weight of the parcel delivered? Because the seller told me it should be approx 3.8kg over 26" long and over 4" square so not exactly light.
Parcel was not signed for though, the driver asked my partners name and handed her the parcel upside down and then left quickly. It says signed for by me? Why not her?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Parcels are almost always delivered to addresses, not specific addresees.
Some parcels are sent addressee only but this is rare - generally it is expected that anyone in a household will sign for an item. Who signs for it, doesn't really matter.0 -
My query is that it shows as signed for by me when in fact my wife signed for it.
Yet she didnt sign for it either, the driver must have signed for it himself if they do have a signature.
Doesnt matter who signs, but should it not show who signed rather than have my name to it?
EDIT: The 2nd item is now showing ready for delivery tomorrow...Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Another update and another unhappy face...
The 2nd delayed item arrived today and its in a right state, the box is battered and rattles and has selotape over the address label and tracking label, i assume that it was taped whilst in the care of FedEx.
If the seller had taped it, i think it would be under the tracking labels.
Its dirty and has skid marks like its been dragged down a runway.
I cannot get to me ebay messages to contact the seller, and i tried to send an email with the pictures and that failed also. Too large a file or is Plustnet flaky today?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Well this part works and studying the Chinglish Manual and something rather disturbing lurking in the text.
"Eliminate the queen"? Is she not allowed in my home workshop or not allowed to mess with my tools?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Seller has responded saying that if fedex do not sort it by next week they will send me another item out.
Fingers crossed that they keep to that.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Going to message the seller now and see what they say tomorrow. But today i had the bill from FedEx. Are they clowns?
£22 bill for half an order, and i wont know the part i have works 100% until i get the other parts. It arrived in a terrible state with a large hole in the box and it rattled. After opening though there are a few nuts missing and its scuffed but did power on.
Going to email FedEx and see what they say. Guessing i will get another bill when the other items arrive. Crossing my fingers the seller stays in touch and does send me the missing items.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

I would email the accounts department to dispute the invoice and separately contact Fedex about the damage and missing items.0 -
Just had to email pictures to a different department, sent about 30 pictures to one person. New department now for claims? Not passed the pictures on?
The issue is going to be the seller declared the items value as much less. Possibly backfired now.
I think my worst outcome will be post back his damaged item and the empty box attached for a refund. What will that cost me £40 ish?
The damaged item may actually work and the damage is fairly minor, but i cannot test it without the missing items. To buy the missing parts in the UK will be double what i paid for the whole thing from China. Massive markup on these items.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
