So is this the only way? Does this look acceptable?0

So sorry mad at the office.
It looks nice but not sure how practical it will be? Cleaning etc. If it is the only way and everything else is done than??? But I think it is a shame that they did not take the height of the cooker into consideration before they fitted everything else.
P.s Love the cooker!!!!!Happiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A0 -
Because of its weight, I imagine a range cooker would be very difficult to pull out for cleaning.0

Your units and plinth will be a fixed height, so I can't see the height having been altered. Did he tile underneath the units?
As said, though, it's not easy to pull a range out anyway. It certainly won't slide out in the way you are thinking, it's far too heavy. It has to be lifted slightly to get any leverage - in which case, you can lift it above the tile most likely anyway.0 -
I've been looking at range style cookers, for my next house. Hadnt put much thought into the cleaning under/behind, but agree I'd think it awkward to shift and would probably leave in place and just get on my knees with a long mop.
Think the finished it off with a reasonably neat trim, for you, but would have expected afloor tiled to the walls, assuming the cooker wasnt there when the tiler did his job

Cooker was there when tiler tiled the kitchen but he was on his own as they said they cant work around while floor tiled. So I assumed it was going to be tiled last as he couldnt lift it on his own. Electrician connected the cooker when he did connect all the sockets. So came home finding cooker like this while I was expected them to tile under. Still got 2 boxes of tiles left as well.I've been looking at range style cookers, for my next house. Hi
Would have been I think a nicer finish if the floor had been tiled wall to wall then the kitchen fitter to have fitted the kitchen taking into account the 90cm cooker height and made the finished worktop height the same.
Seems like lack of planning to me.

They did so many mistakes and I know now that they are good in quality but got no eyes for detail and no planning. You need to keep an eye on them if you know what to look for. Unfortunately I didnt and expected a perfect kitchen after paying £19000 including cooker as well. I will leave my feedback accordingly.CKdesigner wrote: »Hi

Guess what! I came from work and found built in fridge falling to bits. Also at least 2cm gap between door and fridge door. Never noticed it before but wondering why fridge never stops working and building ice on the fridge walls. Great eh!!0
