Thanks i ordered 2 on monday(pink ones)they were £79 so i have cancelled and reordered again.
  • I really would hold back on buying these as xmas presents just yet. When the new models hit the stores, the prices on current models will plummet. Even better, almost new, boxed iPods will go for a song on places like eBay as ipod fanboys upgrade to the latest must-have generation. The stores know this, which is why they're dropping prices now hoping to catch out those that aren't really aware of the new models. The prices will drop much further, believe me.

As ar as other mp3 players go, there are a number out there that are much cheaper than the ipod and with a better tech. spec. too. Do your research (check out Creative players for instance) - if you really are trying to save money you'll probably choose give ipods a miss altogether.

It's a good price for a new piece of ipod kit.

I'm doing well holding off for so long, knowing i'll have the cash from matched betting by the end of this week (thanks MB guys!) :D

but its moneysaving time for me, it you don't need it, don't buy it

dealing with student debts at the moment

oh sorry for being off topic, wanted to share :o
    something more useful;
the £15 is applying for a credit card, not just a quick voucher code through email, and i thought it is on your next order? anyways, you still need to pay £69 or whatever the advertised price is.

also, i know this is a good price for a mp3 ipod, but the new nano has video playing, worth paying the extra in my opinion!

  • Thanks again. I went to Amazon seconds afetr getting your email and bought a Nano with no problems.
  • I would love to jump in here and buy one of these Nano gadgets as have been talking about getting an MP3 player or Ipod for ages. I am in my late 50's and pride myself on keeping up with most of the latest technology but this one has passed me by faster than you can say "moneysavingexpert". :money:

So, can anyone help me out here.....please

If this helps, here are my needs - as far as I can tell :o

    Would like:
Long battery time + be able to plug in direct.
    Radio?
Able to download music easily and cheaply
    At least 500+ tracks
Ability to play in car and also via a stand alone module with speakers (sorry does that make sense) 'Docking unit'???

Apologies if that isn't correct terminology - I did say I was ignorant about all of this stuff.

To be honest I'm not fussed about cheapness - prefer quality everytime so will spend up to £100.
Dont require it to play video or take pictures or any other gizmos - I think.

Thanks to anyone out there who can help me get my street cred back...got a 7 year old grandson to impress here folks.

Before you place an order for this Nano, please be aware that the NEW Ipod Nano has just been launched and Amazon have it in stock for only an extra £30.
