Well the update so far on ebay for anyone that wants to be kept up to date is: 3 out of 7 items have bids on, though they are still at 99p (really hope they do better than that) and 2 have no bids and no one watching them (dosn't look good) and the others have people watching but no bids! (come on people)
Feeling really down still. so much so that I paid £10 of my £25 treats budget off the credit card hubby is loving having some cash he also has £25 and has spent all of his. I spent a fiver on coffee with a friend that I have not seen in ages (and she bought dinner at pizza hut for me and all 3 kids last time) and have had to use some on parking, but the rest is now gone and I can't get it back... I can't get my head around having cash for "treats etc" and I just feel miserable an guilty about it. I don't feel that I should have any cash to "WASTE" and that I do not deserve anything. 0 hubby is loving having some cash he also has £25 and has spent all of his. Well ebay items start to finish in about 4 hrs:rolleyes: , 4 of them have bids on and I am still hoping that the others will get bids, but as no one is watching I don't think they will go. Oh well at least I tried. I have some other bits to sell but as this lot are not doing well not sure if I will bother at the moment (maybe after xmas would be a better plan...... Its just I REALLY NEED THE MONEY NOW
Well I suppose that alot can happen on ebay in 4 hrs, Just trying not to get my hopes up too much.0

            Hi everyone :hello:
All my ebay items have finished now. Only one of my items did not sell, Phew. and wait for it the total made from the auctions for stuff we don't want/need is £422, yippee, that's going straight in the bank and off the credit card.... Well I am waiting for the last person to pay (auction only ended last night) and I am trying not to be impatient.
What with that and the rebate from the housing association of £231 we are suddenly alot better off, and ALL that money is going straight to the credit card once the last person has paid and I have paid the ebay charges. I still have more Items to photograph and list. not sure if to wait till after xmas now though.
WHAT DO YOU GUY'S THINK0

Well I have transfered the money out of paypal today.... The last bundle of dvd's still has not been paid for  and looking at their feedback someone left negative feedback only a few days ago (also for a large bundle of DVD's) saying that 10 days on they had been ignored and still no payment or email had been recieved...... NOT GOOD.
Anyway, I am still looking for advice on the "shall I advertise any other bits on ebay OR wait till after xmas???? PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR OPINIONS..
The other thing is that I had a bombshell dropped today by my dad, he has decided that he wants to take us all (5 of us) to Florida for a holiday (IN JANUARY) We will need to save spending money, How do you think the best way to do this is?????0

Well ebay item still not paid for  I emailed the person and got an appologetic response saying sorry i forgot (they put in 2 bids in the last 30 seconds of the item ending) and will pay this evening (yesterday) I quite clearly state that payment is to be recieved within 3 days. Well no payment and no further contact... I tried to report as an unpaid item but it states that I am unable to do this untill 22nd Oct!!! I want the money now!! more to the point I NEED the money now!!! I really hate people like that. I always either contact the seller and ask if I win can I pay in XXX days time or pay straight away!
Sorry guys Rant over0

            Hi Silkglade
Don't know anything about ebay timing, I'm afraid - but I do know that loads of ebay sellers are still going great guns - people buy on ebay for Christmas of course. Are you selling something thats likely to be that kind of thing (mind you, people give all sorts of weird and wonderful things for Christmas, don't they). Why don't you ask on the ebay board?
You sound really focussed on the debt, which is great. I've been relying on mystery shopping and amazon recently for the extras, which has been great, but I can't get hold of any m.s.s right now, and haven't put what stock I have back on amazon since I got back from a week at my mum's. Distracted, me?
Anyway, Florida sounds fantastic - its not long tho, is it, and its just after Christmas - but you can't *not* take up something like that, can you? Can you? Go for it!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Thank you for your kind words. I really appreciate it.
The item I sold was a bundle of 89 DVD's and luckily for me they went for a really nice amount. It was won by someone that sells dvd's individually on ebay.... but looking at their feedback it seems a regular thing that they win large bundles of dvd's and never pay for them - therefore get negative feedback. It's why i am worried. all they have done is delay me getting paid for my item and then later on having to relist them again. :mad:0

            Hi everyone
Thought i would update you all.
1st my dad has had to cancel taking us on holiday due to health reasons.
The guy on ebay STILL has not paid (I have now opened a dispute but have to wait another 7 days!!!. Why is it when you really need the cash that people bl@@dy bid on items and have NO INTENTION OF PAYING!! . It really makes me MAD. all in all it will delay me in getting payment for about 3 weeks! (sorry guys rant over)
The other thing is that all being well, fingers crossed and hoping nothing unforseen goes wrong we MIGHT be debt free as of the end of November IF we can keep food and petrol spends to a minimum AND both GO WITHOUT our TREAT money too.
I will keep you updated though.0

Oh my word, It has been so horrible not being able to get on here. I have felt like a lost and totally alone person for the last 3 days.
Kept trying to get back on here and it was so horrible. felt like my hand had been cut off.
Well the budget is not going too well at the moment... I have been feeling rather down, about what or why I really don't know, but I have thinking that I need a huge Kick up the ar*e or something to that effect anyway. thinking that I need a huge Kick up the ar*e or something to that effect anyway.
Halloween tomorrow and the kids can't wait, as we moved at the end of november and it is the 1st year they have ever been allowed trick or treating. Didn't live in a nice area at all before.0

Hi Silkglade. keep your chin up cos you are doing really well. I know sometimes getting debt free seems like two steps forward, one backwards and one sideways but if you look at how far you have come then you have every reason to be proud of yourself. Hang on we will all be here for you.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0
