Basically, you're screwed, you have to answer the questions, you can ask your solicitor, pay his fee for answering it for you if you want.
Alternatively just lie, and deny anything your neighbour says. Just hope there are no witnesses, and continue lying when your purchaser comes after you for compensation.

OK... well I was going on the basis that I was going to have to declare it anyway, so best to try to rectify it so that at least I could say the issues have been resolved.
They are the sort to cook up a false witness anyway. Not to mention that her screaming at me on my doorstep in her pyjamas probably gained some attention.
So by trying to sort things out I guess I've made them worse. I'm leaving it at that anyway, I can't force them to resolve whatever issues they have.0 -
There was already their letter about the dog's barking, which they may well have kept a copy of, but I agree, it is a little late, now.
Best of luck with resolving the situation... I still feel sorry for your buyers, though.0 -

How about you send your hubby over with a new decent quality rotary washing line and a bottle of wine/a cake (or whatever does it for them). Apologise that you were worried about the fence getting damaged but say you are upset at falling out. (Blatantly ignoring past run ins). Short term pain for long term gain. Keep the receipt in case they won't accept it.

Actually the first time they did this was before we had completed on the house, and it had been empty for 6 months. Not exactly the best start to neighbourly relations to have thrown 6 months worth of cuttings over someone's fence before they move in.
The second which was when I pulled them up on it, my OH was working abroad and I had a 3 week old baby.
So yes, they were our cuttings. But unreasonable circumstances. And the law states that they should be offered back, but the owner doesn't have to accept them. Certainly they shouldn't just be launched over a fence.0 -

This is a nice idea,he is away until next week. Perhaps by then they will have calmed down enough to at least open the door, as my attempts today have been ignored.0
