A buyer won't be concerned with the problems your neighbour has had with you - you're going.

I would be, it means you may have an intolerant or unreasonable neighbour.

The forms are issued by the law society, here is the guidance:

    Section 2: Disputes and complaints

This section aims to provide information about any existing disputes, or complaints or anything that could lead to a dispute in the future.

    Question 2.1

The seller should provide information about any existing disputes. This could include the cause of the dispute (for example, complaints relating to noise) and any action taken to resolve matters.

The seller should also provide information about disputes that have arisen in the past.

    Question 2.2

The seller should provide information about anything that could lead to a dispute in the future.

As I said, you must declare everything.

Everything which is defined as a "dispute";)

    This seems to be clearer;-

    https://www.lovemoney.com/news/21315/what-should-you-declare-selling-your-home-property-information-form

"If you have had a minor dispute with a neighbour and you aren’t sure whether or not you should declare it on the form, particularly if it’s over, err on the side of caution and discuss the matter with your solicitor. But as a rule of thumb anything that was put in writing to a neighbour, or phonecalls made to the council or the police, needs to be mentioned."

An opinion of 'lovemoney', which suggests a 'rule of thumb' tells you that you have to disclose officially documents disputes, it does not say you don't have to disclose other types.....

No, it says discuss it with your Solicitor.

Rule of thumb = generally accepted.

You asked for guidance from those who publish the form and then use 'lovemoney'....

I'm done with this pointless debate. The answer is as I originally described it.

The guidance did not clear up the definition of dispute, it merely said you should disclose any dispute.

The answer as you originally described it was incomplete, and it is still incomplete.

Attempted to apologise again - again no answer so I've popped a note through, basic gist apologising for losing my temper and removing the line, and suggesting that we get together to discuss our issues and clear the air, as there are obviously problems on both sides, which cannot be resolved if neither of us know what we have done or not done.

That was 2 hours ago and although definitely in, still no response. Not a lot more I can do than this though.
