But the American Empire is an aging nag, heading unknowingly to the glue factory. What the AE thinks about the rest of the world is becoming less relevant with every passing decade, until the point where it becomes a meaningless noise in the background of everyday life.
The current president is merely a distraction brandished before our eyes, a comedy companion to the end of the empire. In a few years, the fool will be dead and gone, of natural causes.
Be calm. Weed our allotments and keep our minds on what really matters and it isn't the current farce.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Very true GQ but I think with the turmoil and squabbles, hard words and stupidity and downright nastiness emanating from the US at the moment prepping has NEVER made so much sense has it? if only for the fact that should world trade in its many guises disappear down the worm hole of Trumpism into a galaxy far far away we need enough baked beans, tomatoes, dried milk, porridge and instant potato to keep us fed in the lean times that are possibly coming our way!0

Well, this member of the ungodly managed to get the drying in before fetching very wet & rather peeved son & apparently defective bike.
He needed a shower anyway & the garden will be all the better for a celestial rather than hose based drenching.
Do cuttings take better if rained in?0 -
