We have a bedroom windowsill covered with pots and tiny seedlings, it won't be long before the back room has them too, I hope people viewing the house (if we EVER get some) will understand how important the process of raising plantlets is and will be tolerant of how it looks!0

SO the invasion begins.
Soon our chillies will have conquered the North West, and then the South will tremble . . .
Very, very happy here. NO foreign bodies in dogs stomach according to the scan and he seems to be keeping some chicken down. Hoping his op will not be necessary tomorrow.0 -

ok, lots to read but later. More house info, yesterday I saw an over 55s home and decided, not for me. Today I lost my scaredness re a fixer upper, I have a company who would do it all, architects, surveyors, project manage etc. Tomorrow I am viewing a fixer upper a house, local enough, still access to the lanes, shop, bus etc, nice community
Seeing the property yesterday gave me ideas for the architect, to enable future proofing. At the moment, 3 beds and bathroom upstairs, downstairs shower room and 3 rooms and kitchen. I want kitchen/dining, study/crafting room, lounge with wood stove and 2 beds with one jack n jill ensuite bathroom plus a walk in wardrobe/store. Add to that lots of light and sun, conservatory and insulation, new ch and boiler and revamp the large garage to make garage/workshop. Re-vamp front and drive
As if that is not enough, I will employ landscape designers or a landscape architect to re-model the flat lawned garden, to make that good for me and oh yes I forgot to mention, it is 1/3 acre and I think I would love that house but won`t know until tomorrow0 -
Getting cabin fever up here, looking out at snow. Vertical snow and horizontal snow. Measured 5 inches in the garden and still gently floating down. I feel like going out looking for polar bears.0

Nor am I holding my breath - I have had the garden ladders "reinstalled" in my room, just completely blocking one access route & thus my ability to get at Anything down that half of the room.
Still, the kitchen windowsill now has trays of (labelled!) cuttings, so while I'd love to play Tetris & can't, at least I got mud pies...Thought this story from Jersey might tickle you guys:

GQ, could you persuade your friend to try Japanese Indigo instead? (Japanese Indigo) I believe it's quite easy to fail to grow, as the cutting she gave me keeled over almost as soon as I got it into our conservatory!Angie - GC Jul 25: £225.85/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)0

:rotfl::rotfl:But how frustrating not to be able to prove the cat had (officially speaking) not taken that daytrip at all and didn't have to go through all that palaver and expense to get back to where "he shouldn't have left in the first place" (ie in the same way as a cat that had come from there iyswim).0 -
he has a very angry face and I can see his tail twitching0

Cat does look annoyed, doesn't he?
I'm wondering if he's weed on those van seats for revenge.0
