What a gorgeous cat, Bob. She obviously had a long, healthy and happy life with you.

:) Aww, what a cutie, BB.

The daffier of the two parental mogs, known online as Wild Thing, has excelled herself this week by catching and eating a rat. It was one of the rat family living under the shed. Four cats at least have been taking a professional interest; Wild Thing & The Queen of Sheba (parental mogs), Oliver from up the row and Nameless Tabby from next door.

Both rat kits have now been disappeared, one down WT's gullet for sure, and mama rat is keeping a low profile. Hopefully she'll decide the neighbourhood is too dangerous and go nest somewhere else.

Meanwhile, it's nice for the cats to have a hobby other than sunbathing and posing around the place looking pretty.

  • Just got back from the hospital. Allergic reaction to the eye-drops.

Headache, sky-high BP, and borderline Tachycardia.

Advised to take Antihistamine and Paracetamol.

Oh Bob, you poor man! that's just not what you expect when you use eye drops! I hope you're beginning to feel better by the time you read this.

Good heavens, Bob, you're really in the wars :( that sounds nasty. And tiring, since you're posting at that time of night :(

Both of my children's schools are on lockdown because of email threats to children. I think it's county wide. Parents have been told it isn't a credible threat but it still has me on edge. :(

 How maddening to have disrupted education, fuddle.

It's almost certainly some spotty little inadequate getting his thrills from a pooter in his mum's house, rather than a deliverable threat, but education authorities have to err on the side of caution.
