Stop Press - is we now know of a certainty who our next Prime Minister will be. Andrea Leadsom has just withdrawn her bid for the post.
So - now we know - I wonder if "wheels will go into gear" to start dealing with the virtually total lack of planning to date for Brexit?0 -
We also have camp stoves like the first one you showed Bob. It is very simple to use. Our stove is electric so I bought these in a just in case effort.
I have been wondering, after I heard T May's speech (when she declared) about setting up a cabinet department to handle Brexit if she won, who she plans to put in charge. How soon will the job of PM shift to her?Overprepare, then go with the flow.

:)Broccoli will cure anything.
I tried this morning but Mr. D flatly refused to let me rub the little patch at the back of his head with a floret of broccolli and accused me of insanity.:D
The Grunt has gone off this morning on the NCA residential. I wasn't allowed a hug in front of his mates so we reverted to the secret one from primary school. I brush my fingers against my lips then discreetly press my fingers on the palm of his hand, he then nonchalantly brushes his hand against his face and grins.
At primary,in infants, he sometimes came out of school and pressed his hand against my face saying he hadn't needed the kiss today so I could have it back
Anyway, on the prepping front Yorkshire tea bags were on offer this morning so I have bought a [STRIKE]load of[/STRIKE] few boxes
Don't know what to think of the new (October?)Tory leader but somebody needs to take charge of things and sharpish.
Uncertainty could cripple small businesses, EU nationals living here need to know where they stand and lots of other stuff too big for my brain.:D
Unbelievable that plans were not in place for each scenario.
MITSTM - do you know anything about this area?

It says there are lots of caravans on plots of land. Just a caravan park or something like Findhorn which has gradually evolved?
Mr.D says too much work on this one but we are starting to explore optionsNot dim.....just living in soft focus

I was only half-listening - so couldnt swear to it - but got the impression we could/would now "go full speed ahead" and the sooner the better imo.0

Doveling I love the "secret kiss" :A That's sweet! I like that cottage, but would prefer the description to say "well-appointed" rather than "habitable"0

Not that I ever knew much about them or made any
My flatmate's culinary skills didn't extend that far either...
Mila, your comment on Saturday got me thinking about an aerogarden. I can put aside the space but will have to think about whether or not it's worth the money. Does anybody have any experiences to share?
On the prepping front, I've realised that my 'summer' drawer had been taken over by wintery socks and thermals, probably in the absence of actual summery weather. My winter slippers from a sale have arrived and I had a good clear-out/rotate of the food cupboards. Previous efforts were clearly not thorough enough - some tins dated 2006  I know that usually tinned food keeps but wasn't taking any chances as these tins of pears had developed strange lumps.
I am a clutter-magnet and my aim for the coming weeks is to organise one bit at a time. And finish what I start, most importantly0
