  • Think I may be a bit ahead of myself. Spent last Saturday, July 2nd, at our church Summer Fayre selling Christmas Cards, wrapping paper, bows, tags etc. We did quite well.

Christmas is coming very early to us this year , OH has just been diagnosed as terminally ill and we've been advised to do things now rather than later so Christmas is officially moved to Sunday 7th August. We will do the full works. Christmas Eve is in Saturday 6th August and will see friends invited over for the evening .
Therefore advent starts this Wednesday and I will be hurriedly looking out for bits and bobs to put in each day. Luckily I have a stock of stuff in my christmas cupboard.

Hopefully we get to do it all over in December but making the most of the well time we have at the moment. I love Christmas !
Enjoy your early Christmas Day, here's hoping you get to enjoy December 25th with your oh as well. Good luck

Cheer up! I don't want to turn a happy thread in to a sad one! We all love christmas and will certainly make our August celebration one to remember....what's not to love about getting your tree up soon :)

We are doing it now whilst OH can still eat and talk , may not be the same in December but for now we are certainly still living, loving and laughing !

I've never commented on this thread but always love reading all your ideas. But I wanted to comment on this and say this is an absolutely wonderful attitude and that I hope you have a wonderful 'Christmas' :) xx
