I think another potential positive is that the next government(s) will potentially spend more money in the regions of England and Wales which are outside London/SE.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0

Tick, Tick Tick. Brexiteers in full spin mode.
Spin this Ba*tard! 😀

Good news. I'll leave the spin to the brexiteers.0 -

So far I have bought lots of British Lager - Cornish St Austell, Samuel Adams, Cobra. Happy to hear about others.
I've been checking where my make up comes from - a lot of Body Shop stuff is made in the UK. Sadly most of Boots No 7 isnt and I'm rethinking this. Lush products also UK made and Molton Brown.
Also as things are about to get more expensive 'cos of fall in the pound I've been buying anything I need now (particularly as sales are fantastic. For same reason look after what you've got - I've just painted my outdoor furniture.
Cobra is an Indian beer and Sam Adams is from US.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -
The OP is not getting much positivity here.
I think one positive is that the Brexiteer Leaders have demonstrated that they have no idea what the plan is. Plan B is for Theresa to take the credit for sorting out the mess they created by forcing one of the Brexiteers to take some responsibility for leading the negotiations and developing the plan.
The other positive is that the EU members will be forced to get off the fence. Either they must start talking to us and trying to broker a sensible deal that is good for all concerned in providing access (not necessarily free) to the single market with controls on immigration, as part of a wider EU reform of free movement, or they must risk the consequences of the EU breaking up and posibly forming a free market with the UK. If they just sit there on the fence behind the civil servants (what the Brexiteers call unelected bureaucratic commisars) and accept they have no control of them.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -
Cobra is an Indian beer and Sam Adams is from US.As of 2014, Cobra Beer is primarily produced in Burton upon Trent,[3] Rodenbach in Belgium and in Patna in the Indian state of Bihar.[4]
also remember that most 'remain' welcome 'investment' in the UK i.e. foreign ownership of UK based industries as they think it a good thing for all profits and dividends to go abroad.0 -

Cobra beer is most certainly made in, and was created in the UK.
Assuming it comes from India as it's a man of Indian origins that created it is rather fanciful, and I would guess, in some respects, quite insulting.0 -

You really must stop thinking in stereotypes. I know that you are easily compartmentalised but that does not mean that I am.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment.
