They are staying here and making their UK products (and possibly other countries products here).
They are moving their EU operations to Germany.
And this was already planned before the vote. It's a growing company.
Yep, UK production stays here, EU and global market operations goes to the EU, meaning :the town would no longer benefit from the company’s rapid global expansion.
You might get your 'tripple' dip after all.Don't blame me, I voted Remain.0 -

But no jobs will be lost as a result. Only continued expansion will be on the continent. If you read the article and not your bold headline, do you work for a tabloid?0 -

Excellent news, I'm sure you'll agree.

Thanks.
The town was very unlikely to benefit from the expansion anyway - as as I stated, it was always on the cards to open up a base in Germany.
No jobs will be lost or relocated as I believe you were trying to make out.0 -

as mayo is a true bigoted euroland unthinking acolyte, we are assured that he will post every bit of 'negative' news about the UK and absolutely nothing positive;
he could probably be a natural at the BBC as the has the 'correct' fair minded attitude.0 -

So the UK is losing future jobs, just not existing ones?0 -

For goodness sake.
From January 2016:The company said the "enormous growth in sales" had provided new challenges and put pressure of its manufacturing facilities.
To ease pressure on the UK site in particular, Lush will open a new facility in Dusseldorf, Germany that should supply most of mainland Europe by the end of the 2015/16 financial year.

This is nothing to do with Brexit. Was happening regardless of the outcome of the referendum. It's desperation to cling on to this and claims it's something to do with Brexit.0 -
The article about the Netherlands quoted Gert Wilders - a bit like asking Nigel Farage what he thinks of the EU
Because assuming that the only people who wanted Britain to leave the EU were nutcases like Nigel Farage worked so well, didn't it.
Keep on telling the Dutch that anyone who wants to leave the EU is a far-right racist nutcase like Gert Wilders, it'll definitely work.Graham_Devon wrote:This is nothing to do with Brexit. If that's the best that Remain can do it actually makes me quite positive about the UK's employment prospects in the short term. (I was already positive about the long term.)0 -
I think another potential positive is that the next government(s) will potentially spend more money in the regions of England and Wales which are outside London/SE.
The loss of support in these regions crucified the government position. It only continued a loss of support which we saw during last year's GE.
Hopefully this will be real support and not more bl***y garden festivals.0
