the CSA is akin to the BPA , a members club , in the case of T whitehouse who joined them after being expelled from the BPA and had no use or need for the CSA , the replies were akin to , thank you he has paid his fees for the year , please %^&* off

So you think it'll be a waste of time? At least its wasting BW Legals time too.

The Parking Prankster recommends a CSA complaint. Yet to be seen if it makes any difference to the generally misleading letters some debt collectros send.

Just want to clarify a couple of things if I may. If I receive another letter from BW legal when I have asked them not to contact me again, do I ignore it? Also, if I receive what I might believe to be a letter before action, do I also ignore it as I have already robustly responded, and just wait for any official Court papers and leave it at that for the moment? Obviously any official Court papers will be dealt with accordingly. I would assume the same would apply for any other correspondence from Excel?

    Thanks.

Have now a letter from both BW Legal and CSA formally acknowledging my complaint. They aim to reply within 4 weeks, so that makes me feel better about being away as nothing will have happened court wise I suspect til I return as they need to address complaint first. Oh it's nice to let them receive some justified hassle. :D

I recommend responding, if you are not on holiday when a letter arrives. In your case now you can refer to the CSA investigation you have decided to ask for, and tell them that you are keeping records of your time and expenses, should they pursue this to a claim.

Thanks, well if anything does come and I'm home, I'll post on here and see what best response would be. I don't expect to hear from them for a couple of weeks at least and am away for 2 weeks. See what happens. They know I'm serious now at least!

Yes, actually, received a letter today. It states the complaint is not upheld (not surprised but worth a try). They included quite a few A4 photos of the vehicle in question. So, my next thought is to reply, yet again disputing the alleged contravention, as the photos supplied simply show the car parked where it was at the time. There is no evidence shown that it is a restricted area. I am thinking of asking for that proof, as these photos don't give that? Any advice on next steps? I can upload the letter once home from work if that would help. Oh, I didn't have anything else from the CSA, which I thought I might? Maybe I should look into complaining to the SRA too? Thanks!

You'll have to chase the CSA as their members tend to ignore the CSA deadlines. (It used to be 4 weeks; it may have changed).
