What goes round, comes round! I have always, always, always, used butter - no synthetic grease for my family! And eggs - I've always bought eggs (2 doz a week when my family consisted of 4 children + 2 adults) now ...surprise surprise - eggs are good for you again!

I don't "do" frozen chips/pies/processed meals - never have done - always cooked from scratch (now its trendy "clean cooking" - never used jar sauces etc .....cheaper that way too!
We try cook everything from scratch, try being the important word :D

Last week i thought i would make homemade fish and chips. Bought some fresh fish, made the batter and even the chips myself but it all went wrong when i fried the fish! They all stuck to the basket :o i now know to take the basket out when deep frying fish but i wish i knew that first!

I sliced some lurpak straight from the fridge to put on my crumpets earlier...

I tried Lurpak on my crumpets but most of them seem to prefer either squirty cream or chocolate spread.........:D

Don't worry about finding a cheap middle age spread, Spinkz - it will arrive all by itself without any effort at all. :(
    . . .I did not speak out

    Then they came for me
And there was no one left
    To speak out for me..

    Rather defeats the object!

I'd rather not get used to it. I'll take vile tasting medicine on its own and keep butter on my potatoes, thanks. :)

Forget all these 'spreads', they're just chemical s**t storms! Real butter will serve you far better.
