Middle aged spread

As i'm getting older, i keep hearing all this talk about middle aged spread

As a Clover user, which i assume is the youthful spread. I dont think our food budget extends to a more luxury middle aged spread. Hell, i dont even know where i would buy middle aged spread! I'm guessing M&S?

As this is a household and family board i expect some people here have already converted to middle aged spread so i thought i'd take advantage of your money saving knowledge and ask what the cheapest middle aged spread is?

I presumed Benecol was a middle-aged spread due to its alleged cholesterol-lowering ingredients ...

Isn't middle aged spread Clover with less than a month left before its Use By date? You could buy some and save it until it qualifies :rotfl: .

Evidence suggests that real butter is better for you than all these fancy margarines. Don't keep it in the fridge, though, or you'll find that you have to chisel lumps off it to make your morning toast.

I go for the "shavings off the top" technique :D

Before we had spreadable buttery spreads, I used to keep a hairdryer in the kitchen for softening a layer at the top of a block of butter.

Utterly Butterly is only £1 a kg at Home Bargains.

Thank you :T :T :T I buy from Lidl, Home Bargains, Iceland or Morrisons depending on who has it on offer. I have also decided that Asda own brand is Utt Butt in disguise.
