Hi doveling, its a dwarf lop crossed with Netherland I think. She's a beautiful grey colour and has the lop ears! Collecting her tomorrow. So at some point I need to move the water butt by about a foot to get the hutch against the house wall. There's a radiator on the inside of that wall so I thought in winter it might be warmer there. Though I can't remember the last time we actually had a frost just a few mornings with white grass last winter, no proper hard frosts (I'm in Cornwall) id probably bring her inside when or if it gets cold. Enjoy the quilt show. I always spend too much when I go to stitching shows. But it's your birthday so you are allowed to spoil yourselfIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0

Just worked out how much it will cost to get the Euros for our forthcoming break. The rate has gone down quite a bit since the referendum, I was getting 1.24 back in June now it's 1.16. Oh well, if that's the only fallout.
I was clearing out the purse I keep foreign currency in and there were some old supermarket receipts in there. I noticed that they still had the old French franc equivalent at the bottom all these years after France joined the Euro.
I find France quite expensive at any time - apart from wine, fortunatelyIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!0 -
Thankyou Mary, its a local one, so small and only one fabric stall from memory, but if there is any money in my cards then I know where it'll be going!! Slight addiction!! XxNo one can make you feel inferior without your consent - Eleanor Roosevelt

Morning all
Happy birthday cheel, enjoy the quilt show.
Hope everyone is well.
Going to try and catch the headmaster today and talk through what the options are for my doing the course, the maths and English retakes scare me witless just because I've not done any form of exam or learning since I was 16 (I vaguely recall being that you once) but I love working in class and if the worst happens and I fall those I still have my original results to fall back on but will have polished up a bit on newer methods.
Want to find out what the difference is between level 2 and 3 and if I can go straight for three with just volunteer hours. Also need to clarify the options for paying, three part payment and learning loans were both mentions plus school may contribute. Gosh my brain was busy while I was sleeping.
Have a good day all.SPC~12 ot 124

My stashes are quite sizeable
I made a quilt earlier on in the year, I picked up the complete world of quilting magazines set with all fabrics templates wadding and loads of other extras all for £3 at the carboot so couldn't resist. I made the quilt and have it on our bed, I smile every time I see it as it was such a bargain and so satisfying learning a new skill and making it from scratch.SPC~12 ot 124
