Definitely the Nokia 6630, the photo quality and download to pc is fantastic. But depends what you need in a phone, e-mail is useful too.

You don't have to take too much notice of me - i just thought it was another possibility

I'm really cheapskate about new phones, but some people need extra info available; a friend has about 600 phone numbers and a load of spreadsheets with prices etc. - SonyEric910 I think

Forget the 62310i as it is just catching up to the D500, better to get that as you will get better delas with it as it is soon to be replaced by the D600, now that's a phone!
2p off is still 2p off!

Don't beat yourself up too much!

I've been trying to persuade friends to save on their bills for a couple of years. In a firm I know one of the contracts at £17.50 a month averages about 2 minutes use. I'm gonna give her a new payg SIM card and see what happens.

    The deed is done guys:

Taking on board all your advice I have just called orange disconnections and had one of those "I am very disappointed to hear about all the great deals you are offering my friends and heres me a loyal customer on 400 minutes and no texts for £50" conversations.

Tomorrow a new D500 is arriving and my contract is now
    500 minutes
    150 texts
and a £20 rebate for my disappointment!!!!!
    all for £25

Can I just say thanks to you all again and I hope you are not too cross with me Poppy and Andy for staying with Orange - it makes life a lot easier and its still half price.

    Way to go!!!!!!!!!

Sounds good! I wasn't trying to get you off Orange; that link was on Orange, and I am too.

The difficulty would have been the networks are happier with the dealers capturing new customers by allowing the number to be transferred than transferring numbers from their existing accounts.

But it sounds like you've got to the right place anyway.
