What's my car worth

try The Car Buying Group too. No fees, they come and collect the car (appraise it accurately over the phone for them). I enquired online on the Tuesday the car was collected Friday from my office. Money in my account before the driver left. Only declared cosmetic faults.0

That's a pity
My only data was when unsold them a 116D last year and WBAC were comprehensively outbid by WWAC
I think keeping the car for another couple of years may make the most financial sense.0 -

You're absolutely correct, but i've made my mind up to change, and what's money for if not for spending?
So on a side issue, anyone got any preference over a Civic/Focus/Mazda 3?0 -

In comparison to a Qashqui they are a bit smaller, how did you find the Qashqui in general?
Of those three the Focus will be easy to service but will likely depreciate more than the Civic. I don't know much about the Mazda 3 apart from they were based on the Focus platform, not sure if that is still the case though.
If I could get a decent discount I would go Focus otherwise I would chose the Civic with those choices.0 -
The qashqai was grand for the purpose we needed it , but the engine is underpowered and the suspension is pretty spongy with a fair amount of body roll. I had a focus a few years back, and it was a joy to drive but I share your concern on depreciation plus the civic seems better built and with plenty of kit as standard. The Mazda seems to be the best of all worlds but with the weakest engine, so I'm in a quandary0

Any difference in the cost to change? That's the important figure, not the amount they offer for your car. Don't get blindsided by that, many dealers will tell you they will offer you top dollar for your car, but just give a worse deal on the replacement to balance it out. Especially if you tell them that you weren't happy with other offers.
Always always ALWAYS chase the cost to change figure. No other figure matters.0 -
