What's my car worth

Hi all,
Sorry for another thread like this, been looking to buy a new car and offer my current one as part ex. It's a 2013 Nissan Qashqai 360 45k miles 1.5dci. Was offered £8k by a dealer on Saturday, but this seems very low considering the car was £22k new. According to What Car & Parkers i should be getting around the £10k mark, which seems reasonable considering my FIL traded the petrol model of the same car last month for £10k.
Thoughts?

Unfortunatley the cost of the car 3 years ago has very little to do with the trade in value today.
If £8000 is very low and £10000 seems ok, then try and sell privately for £9000 and see how quickly you get a sale. Whats important is the cost to change cars. If you want this cost to be as small as possible you should always sell privately for the best price. Its more work though.0 -
I also reckon getting a bottom book figure from WBAC is a good idea.
Don't know what model the "360" is but this is a 13 plate Qashqui 1.5sci with 45k for under £9k.

But I doubt yours is worth £10k, that one pictured was likely closer to £7.5k when bought into stock.

That is an identical Qashqui with 20k more miles for £10799.
And this is one with 20k miles less than yours

For only £11299.0 -
Dang
Was hoping i'd a bit more leeway for negotiation. Ah well, thanks all.0 -
WBAC just offered £9k so that's something!0

did you honestly report the condition.
any scratches or imperfections and they'll knock off the offered amount significantly.0 -
WBAC can sometimes be surprisingly good, just don't accept if you're not happy if they start knowing loads money off0

We Want Any Car pay more than WBAC in my limited experience.
My old Jaguar sold for under £18k when I was finished with it. Wasn't even 4 years old, had lots of miles but full Jag history, and that was a shade over £60k new as it had a couple of options.
Next time I buy a new car it will be a long term purchase not a three yearly. Depreciation hurts.0 -
