Could you point me toward the "moving to another provider" link please?

    Sign in to your account.
Look for My Sky at the top and click on it
Scroll down a bit until you find My package
Click on the blue 'View my package'
Scroll down to 'I'm thinking of changing my subscription'
Click on the blue > Thinking of cancelling your Sky Broadband, Talk & Line Rental?
You should now get 4 options to choose from,
I'm thinking of switching to another provider should be the top one.

If you get stuck at all just click on the back arrow

I too am in a similar position. My previous offer has expired so im now paying around £24pm for line plus BB. Have had a go on live chat but they are having onn of it ! They must have been told to toughen up !

I tried live chat again today, no luck either :(

Im thinking talktalk as they have a LLU presence in my exchange.

Keep hearing rumours about poor network but then i guess you only hear the bad stuff??

I was with Talktalk before joining Sky. It was okay while it worked but I found it hard communicating with the call centre when I had problems - it was easier, though slower, to get answers and help from the forum instead

PS is ith worth retaining sky for skygo? ive never used it..is the basic skygo stuff worth having? i could plug it into my big tv..

Don't have skygo so can't help there I'm afraid.

With regards to the broadband - I've read of people on some forums actually cancelling (ringing them) and finding 50% offers on their account when they've logged in later on.
I don't know if that is just for broadband or Sky tv though and am too chicken to try it myself in case it doesn't work and I end up losing my phone and broadband altogether  If Anyone knows the answer to this PLEASE let me know, getting really stressed out with it all .......................

    To get offers.

    Goto sky website
    Sign in
    Click My Sky
    Close advert
Scroll down and look on the left.

I can't instruct any more as my sky account is now closed.

But basically you press the options that you are thinking of leaving sky because it is too expensive.

Just called and was offered free BB for a year, only have to pay phone and line rental. I do have TV with them so I don't know if that makes any difference but that contract finishes in Sept and I'll be ditching it then.
