Go into the router settings and make sure that "Smart Setup" is switched off.

(under Advanced Settings/Home Network) on the Homehub 5

Smart Setup is supposed to make it easier to connect to the homehub, but some devices just don't like it.

They liked it up until Friday and I've never had an issue with it but for some reason it decided not to play ball. Also threw out a smart tv.

Strider and Gunjack are quite correct - it is a known problem with the 5ghz band of the HH5. If you take the setting off Auto and just use the 2.4ghz band it might also correct any issues, as will changing channel to 11 rather than 6, which seems to be default. Its a glitchy router but is fast and stable once you get the settings sorted out.
