Well I actually read another thread to ignore the letters...

So many bitter people on here. I'm only after some advice/help. How hard is it to help someone out.

can you link to a thread by a regular trusted forum meber written in the last 4 yrs that said ignore?

the ignoring you have done was reading all the posts on page one of this thread

in fact in post 3 http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=70927557&postcount=3 you were clearly told not to read old threads , and given a link with full instructions what to do

    you ignored it

I'm only after some advice/help. How hard is it to help someone out.

re read all instructions given to you on page one of this thread , go back in time and act as per instructions

I was told to come back if (See post 3) PCM of their solicitor ever try a small claim. Now obviously due to my own incompetence and stupidity I didn't appeal, very silly of me I know. Is it worth appealing now or am I too late.

Complain to Bluewater now, in writing/by email, stating that this has escalated to the point of harassment and you intend to inform the press unless the thing is cancelled. And that your family are boycotting Bluewater, blah blah...you were going to come back for Christmas shopping and January sales but not now...blah blah.

Apart from that, if it's a LBCCC from Gladstones, that's easy to respond to by searching this board for 'Gladstones LBCCC'.

Then when you get a claim (because you will, unless Bluewater cancel it, because PCM won't of their own volition) you can certainly defend the matter. We've never yet seen a Gladstones claim go to a hearing on this forum and we've provided and advised on defences all year. Claims yes, hearings no. All have been stayed so far, and those which might go to a hearing have robust defences. And those reported by the Parking Prankster will make you laugh. Loads of blogs about Gladstones bungling cases!

PCM signage is usually pants/pale green & illegible/hidden so if a family member hasn't boycotted the place yet, ask them to get you some photos of the worst signs there, to help with your evidence.

Thank you very much. Your help is much appreciated.

I've spoken to a solicitor I know, she said to write to reply to Gladstones and say until you can give me proof that you can actually fine me, I won't be paying anything. Worth doing that or not?

Oh dear. She doesn't appear to know about fines as opposed to 'parking charges' and the Beavis case which established certain things. Yes the parking firm CAN issue a parking charge to you. Asking a question about 'fines' is pointless, Gladstones will laugh and reply shoving the Beavis case in your face, followed by the court papers, which are pretty much inevitable.

The Bluewater complaint is the only way to stop the claim and should have been done earlier.

A response to the LBCCC is far better being based on all the dozens already here, easy to find by searching.

Just my opinion - I'm not legally qualified.
