If I knew that I parked illegally then I would just pay the fine; move on and learn from it. Rather than having this hanging over me for six years.
If I did not park illegally then I would of taken a photo of the parking to challenge it.0 -

"do I also contact the manager of bluewater first? And do that rather soonish, or just go with the letter to IPC?"

There has recently been some developments in this parking fine. Before anyone moans, the sticky thread has been read by myself, and I've found that it doesn't really help me out in the situation I am currently in, so please everyone hear me out and any help would be great.
Since my first post, I've received 2 or 3 letters from PCM themselves, saying I need to pay the fine blah blah... They got ignored. I then received 2 letters from TRACE debt recovery saying that the matter was in their hands, they also got ignored. I then sent PCM a letter myself saying to stop contacting me, they weren't getting any money from me, they have no right to fine me and some other stuff. This was around 2 months ago. Now yesterday I've received a letter from Gladstone Solicitors, PCM is their client and has instructed us to recover the total amount of £155 (Fine has somehow increased).... "Our client may now instruct us to take legal action against you" Blah Blah.
Now obviously, I do not want to pay the fine. Nor do I want to go to court.
What is my best play? Ignore it. Contact them. Wait till bailiffs turn up at my door and ring me the police for being on my property. I don't know. Any help would be great, Thanks0 -

I am in the position where I may receive an LBC, but am relatively confident that I know what to do and when, and how to defend it. That has come from committing time and energy to educate myself about the situation I am in.
At the risk of being criticised for talking down to you I'd suggest that you do the same using the information in many threads on this forum, or you pay the sum demanded. With an attitude like yours (flame suit on) I can not see you constructing a half way decent defence if the time comes, and no-one on here will write it for you. They will advise and constructively criticise, but it will be down to you to write it, and you can't write a decent defence without spending many hours perusing threads that have gone before.0
