I've added onto my pp list a few half used items to remind me to use them up.

And I have a UU this morning:

Carex refreshing soft cleansing wipes- WMBA these were okay and handy for work sleep ins as they can be used for a variety of things so very useful to have in my bag. However I wasn't hugely keen on the citronella smell. They were very good quality wipes though and a decent size. These were pound world buy and a large packet so good value, if I see these again might pick some up, very handy to have in bag or in my car.

    2 UUs over the weekend:-

West Lab Epsom Salts WNBA. Do not do the micaculous healing that it claimed it would.

LE IBST 200ml. Have a new one to start today.

Repainted my nails last night and am wearing OPI Tickle My Francey.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I use an Osmo Effects one bought off Amazon. It's used in salons apparently but it does leave my hair feeling very soft and clean. Can be bought in multiple sizes too. Also helps to retain moisture so it won't dry your hair out :)
  • Hello to all returning and new faces. I like the monthly format as I can read every page and generally respond or thank posts. I thing a big continuous tread would mean I miss things, like all the tips, holy grail products and things to avoid.
I find this tread makes me look at new product with a different light: kind of like “have that already- that’s not new” and “my xzy at home is better- I’ll stick with that” and “I want to pan what I have”.

gemmajenkins0208- the stash has not really gotten less but I actively use what I have. I buy better products that suit me and have less real mistaken products. Since being an active member of unnecessary toiletries, life has thrown challenges but the skin is looking better. I feel that the tread encourages me to use up products, present myself a bit better and look after the skin.

Lou85- a cheap cosmetic tread is a good idea. I love finding a hidden gem and secret product that works without costing a fortune. I hope that you are not too stressed. I hope that the potential redundancy does not occur and all is ok. I adore quality good value products that charge a fair price for a great performance. I hate the concept of dupes as you can get a great product that works that is not a copy of an expensive item.

    Goals for july

    1 finish Clinique lipstick
    2 finish caudalie night cream
    3 apply spf daily

Garnier Skin Miracle cream is now spluttering, hurrah! This will be my first use up in what feels like years!
  • My first July UU!

    1. L'Occitane Shea Butter hand cream 10ml. This was my desk handcream, been replaced with Crabtree and Evelyn Rosewater hand cream 10ml. I reapply everytime I answer the phone, and it is making a difference to my hands!

    Also one IN:

    1. Victoria's Secret Strawberries and Champagne body spray 250ml. I saw this in Superdrug and have been wondering about trying these for a while (American friends swear by them!). This sounded like a cute scent! I'm also leaving this on my desk at work to top up scent after lunch :)
