Hi. I’m new to the forum. Can you link to the August challenge on here as I want to have a go. I think I will start with a modest £5 a day if that’s okay, please. Loving all the tips so far.

The August challenge won't be up yet as we are still in July.. this thread is the July thread so jump right in with money making or just find your feet and the August thread will be posted in the last couple of days in July.

I've just found the vac I need (yes need as mine is dead as in I'm getting more suction sucking through a straw and the cleaner jammed Mum's so that's not being lent again!) It's on offer at over half price and I can use amazon vouchers towards it. Let's hope it stays on offer long enough for me to cash out some more vouchers!

$5 arrived from gifthulk in paypal (about £3.75 when converted)
I know I would get a better rate if I did amazon but for the moment, I am trying to get together $890 to buy Ultimate on neo. Up to $50 at the moment so a long way to go.

    Also £5.40 tips.

New shoes stayed on feet for four hours at work when I had to put old ones back on for rest of shift. Not too bad. :D

Well done:T. That's about 3 hours longer than I'd have managed in new shoes on their first wearing when working:o

Congrats to all you moneymakers:beer:. Nothing to report here, sadly:o

Thought I'd just mention (after receiving helpful advice on here when I asked for Chrome/Firefox preferences when my email programme was playing up because of IE) that I've sorted it without having to download a different browser:j. Big achievement for someone as technologically inept as me:rotfl:.

Completely by chance I came across some advice on a totally unrelated issue and thought I'd give it a go. It was just a case of the 'compatability view' settings and a box being ticked when it shouldn't have been. Apparently it made my mail programme think I was using an earlier version of IE. Don't ask me, I haven't a clue how/why:o.

Anyway it's all sorted now, but I'll prob download Chrome or Firefox as well sometime because I've had issues with IE in the past and think it's had its day;)
  • Well things have been going a little slow for me in my first full month of the challenge! I've got a few more bits to report though:
£40 selling some patio slabs (had a lot of interest - probably should have put them on for a bit more!)
£0.60 on Google Opinions (just goes into my Play Account as credit)
£9.13 textbroker payment withdrawn from Paypal.

This gives me a total so far of £102.13/£310. Not doing great but as my Masters dissertation is due in 24 days I haven't had much time to focus on money making! Once that's handed in (15th August) I can really crack on and do better!
  • Well done, FacelessNumber:T

Please don't beat yourself up about your total. To make the amount you have when you're obviously up to your eyes in more pressing matters is nothing short of brilliant:)

    Good Luck with your dissertation:beer:

Faceless Number: As a Master Grad, I have one thing to say to you. 24 days is nothing. Focus on your Thesis. You'll kick yourself if you miss your desired grading cos you were money making. You have 24+ yrs to money make. You've made £100 in 3 weeks that's brilliant - it's more than I've made in 2 months. We'll still be here in September - we're permanent features and we'll party with you when you get your MSc/MA but we'll go mad if you balls it up cos you were money making!! :D
