Npower opinions?
Hi,
Just checked the various comparison sites and Npower comes up top for us, with a saving of £293 a year for dual fuel electricity and gas.
I'd like to know how good (or bad) their service is. I don't want any hassle with switching or bill errors etc.
Currently with British Gas and London Energy who I've had no problems with but they are very expensive so I've gotta leave them...
Cheers

That seems a huge saving for domestic useage!
What consumption of Gas & Electricity do you have?0 -
£690/year Gas
£660/year Electric
London area, Large 4 bedroom End terrace house, 4 people. It's gone up over the last year, but has always been high0 -
They have good customer service but they rarely read my gas meter. I get a £50 a year discount for having both gas and elec with them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

customer service is useless.
mostly estimated bills and a sudden huge bill when they get the reading.
uses 3rd grade agencies e.g. Richburns (never keep up the appointments)
But....cheaper.All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy.0 -
Hmm... I made a spreadsheet to compare the different companies' tariffs.
Turns out that I'll only save £209 with npower dual (as opposed to £293)- that Energyhelpline site is totally useless! I did all the calculations manually with the prices from each company's site.
Think I'm gonna take a risk with npower for electric (saving £105 a year) and equigas for gas (saving £123 a year), giving me a total saving of £228.
Cheers for your help, guys0
