My 18 month fibre large, contract with TalkTalk is up
I am contemplating either changing ISP's (but to whom ?)
or negotiating a better deal with TT
At the moment - I am paying £40 for line + unlimited 80Mbps fibre (which has been 100% reliable in the last 12 months) - What would you do ?

My 18 month contract is nearly up with them for simply broadband, they have offered me a new 18 month contract, £17.70 line rental & £3.75 broadband, don't know if I should accept or look elsewhere0

They are offering free Simply broadband to NEW customers - so I would say 'don't accept less'
especially don't accept an 18 month tie-in0 -
If you can get the best price with TalkTalk I would stay with them.
I would be interested to hear if you can get anything less than an 18 month contract because in my experience they will negotiate on anything else but not the 18 month contract.0 -

Congratulations.....
The second one is irrelevant , different ISP0 -
I was meant to be switching to SSE Ultra Fibre and Calls at £21 a month from TT Simply Broadband and No Calls at £17.70 a month. The order all went through and I received notice from TT my services with them were ending but I thought I'd call TT because of the bad reviews I was reading for SSE?
I was offered Fibre Large, free for 12 months (£17.70 a month then goes up to £32.70 and free connection on an 18 month contract) and it's rock solid much like the ADSL was so maybe see what they can offer you.
Even if you put in a switch request so they know you're serious you can always cancel it like I did, it might give you a better chance of the best deals.
TT CS can be shambolic but I've personally always found the actual services as good or even better than as anyone else that I've been with.
Good luck!0
