Closer than expected. Lucky the leave momentum was stopped last week.

Sarcasm presumably, given you support Leave? I'm afraid I'm too tired to appreciate anyone not playing with a straight bat at present! ;)

    Sky? Believe in better.

That's what the final Yougov prediction has just said on BBC1.

    Sure? Other way round.
Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.

The quid is up about 1.35%. Someone thinks they know the result.

I suspect it's the rueful remainers that will rule the day.

Did you place any bets gen on the volatility today ?
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

You know what I find really annoying about that 'anyone playing England' attitude by the Scots, I used to really enjoy supporting all the other home nations (I still do with the other nations including Eire) and I also used to enjoy watching out for Celtic (not religiously motivated) in the European competitions. But when I became aware of the attitude of some of the Scots, now I too boo both Scotland and Scottish teams, but what is really annoying is that they have brought me down to their petty level of racism, I should be better than that, but unfortunately I struggled to continue my sympathies.

What has happened to you is what Nicola, The SNP and their supporters have aimed for - making the English dislike the scots. The vast majority of scots are not racist, and you shouldn't let yourself be manipulated by racists imo.

Football really isn't about getting behind other teams and hoping they do well.

    You're doing it wrong.

Nigel is conceding defeat on the basis of private polling carried out by his old stock broker chums. Very unusual for a politician to concede so quickly sounds like that data is pretty solid.
