OGR and Jivesinger, thank you for your replies. Been having problems since then, so not able to reply. I have now created a new thread regarding this issue here:

I had terrible time with window 8 updating. It was around 7-8 months ago when I installed it first time and within a week, I went on to update which resulted in the window getting corrupt. I later figured out that most people had same issue with updates since then I haven’t done any updates and it works fine!0
