Neither of us have the smallest iota of interest in the football.
I had thought it would all calm down and go back to normality soon, but I've just realised that Wimbledon coincides with the last two weeks of the Euros.
Neither of us care for tennis either.

It's great. Much better than most of the carp on the TV - which all seems to be about bailiffs.Never again will the wolf get so close to my door :eek:0

OH and I are rugby fans but he's suddenly decided he wants a Northern Ireland football shirt for some reason
(his Dad's side of the family are from Northern Ireland so there is a connection, it's just utterly random!) I'm trying to track one down for him- it took me long enough when he decided he wanted an Ireland rugby shirt
I tracked one of those down for him so now he thinks I can pull these things out of thin air :rotfl:

Having tested one or two earlier, I wedded BoPsie. I took her to see Villa in 1986, she wanted more. No problem here! And last Tuesday, I managed to find a BBC channel again! Next time will be in two years at the World Cup!0

This is a little sexist - I'm a bloke, and I would literally rather do anything else than watch a group of skinny blokes play acting and kicking around a sack of wind. I don't appreciate the stereotype of the football loving beer drinker.
I love a good England match, mainly as the roads are dead quiet and I can go fill up with a tank of super unleaded and go for a drive around North Yorkshire, just for the sake of driving, I can always watch any goals online afterwards missing all the dull bits.
The only downsides are that the England team are usually rubbish and get knocked out early.0 -
This post is a little bit sexist :rotfl: Its not just blokes who like footy... I am a season ticket holder for my local team and also runs a girls football team. We are a football family all round.0

Both me and OH hate football.
Luckily we both like tennis - can't wait for Wimbledon - and F1. Yesterday we were had to keep switching between F1 and QueensThe world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -

We're not suggesting football widows or fans are one sex or the other.
