    Morning :)

Going to forget about the leak today we are off to Swanage for fish and chips. Mr TS bit more energetic than me he is riding. I will drive and park outside of town for free and walk in. :)

All I managed to do yesterday was clear under the bed. :o. I found it difficult as my joints still limiting so had to keep stopping. Mr TS would have gone mental the amount squirrelled away under there. It's in a pile in DD3's room well mountain really and started a box of I will call them mistakes downstairs think will have to join the car booters. :o.

Oh did take the ironing board down too it's usually permanent fixture in the bedroom maybe it's time to find it new home now kitchen is done. ;)

Will go back maybe tomorrow and move the drawers so Mr TS can move the carcasses. Wondering whether will need to move stuff out the airing cupboard bath mat stash, panty liner stash, oh joy. :rotfl:

Hope you all have a good day x
  • Morning everyone,

No chance on catching up so sorry if it's already been posted - if you received the Alpro Go On yogurt moc through the post then it's 85p at T's and the moc takes off £1 at the ss.

Also some great reductions at the garden section, got the Resolva weed killer (the green one that kills weeds not lawns) for £1 down from £4.50. Also some wildflower mix down from £7 to £1.50, although I didn't get this so can't remember the brand.

Hi all, just popping in to say there are some good prices on epilators at S's. I bought the Braun Silk Epil 5 for £21. Bought some food and used a £4 wys £40 voucher, so in my mind it was really only £17 :)

I do already have the Silk Epil 3 from the days of the MEGA reductions on electrics at T's (think it was £3 ) but it's quite old and seems to be less effective than it used to be, so I've treated myself to a new one.

Off on a last minute break to Croatia tomorrow, so I need some TLC before I go :) Flights were only £80 return with Thomsons :money:

Croatia is a beautiful country. Food, booze, accommodation is cheap- well it was when I went a few years ago. Not sure exactly where your headed but Plitvička Jezera is one of the main national parks and is fantastic, get there early to avoid the queues and take a good pair of walking shoes. Think you can book a day trip from Zagreb and go by coach or hire a car.

Dubrovnik is usually stowed off with tourists especially if there is a cruise ship in. It was hot when I went in May so dare say it will be hotter now.

Having said that I much preferred it's two neighbouring countries Slovenia and Bosnia Herzegovina :) Though slovenia was more expensive as it's part of the euro, I call it a mini NZ, but closer to home.

    Enjoy
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Hi, just got back from Croatia...we stayed near Split this time. Weather was perfect, sunny and hot but not as oppressive as it has been here lately. Especially enjoyable was a trip to the Krka falls and a day trip to Mostar in Bosnia to see the beautifully reconstructed bridge that was blown up in the war. Hope you have a great time!

This is somewhere I really want to go again. We flew to Split and stayed on the island of Brac (resort Bol). Went over to Split for the day, to Dubrovnik (but didnt have long enough there) and to Mostar where we watched the young lads dive off the famous bridge. There was a programme on last week in narrated by Michael Palin where he visited the bridge, they have done a really good job of the reconstuction.

Now to find my nearest Farmfoods :)
  • If anyone likes the larger cartons of ncg soup available at T's, then these are going hp to £1.17 on 3 to 23 Aug, so plenty of time to use the £1 off mocs.
