We're getting married on Saturday. This never occurred to me (heads off to find out if VW camper vans and KIA sportages have interior handles)

Congratulations, think the camper van would look great as a wedding car 🍾🍾❤️

    Afternoon all.
The elite are a collective of advice on all aspects of life, so here goes....

What is the best way to attach wedding ribbons to the front of a seat alhambra? I thought we could just tie it on to the wing mirrors, but have been told that it won't work as the doors opening will cause it to go slack. My DH wondered about attaching it to the roof bars, but that will mean it will go over the windscreen. Someone else suggested using the sun visors and making sure it isn't twisted through the doors.

    So, has anyone done this??

We did the ribbon thing to a Mazda 6. We used cable ties and sellotape!

We knotted it around the centre of the front of the bonnet then secured it with cable ties. Then we sellotaped the ends of the ribbon on the pillar on the inside between the windscreen and the door. Worked perfectly :)

We put a ribbon flower over the bonnet bit which tied on normally with ribbon, which covered up the cable ties :)

Edit - we got the ribbon flowers from hobby craft. I was looking for pre made flowers but they come in a flat packet and you just push the ribbon forward to make the flower

I went to Swanage end of last year.......it rained :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Actually was down to photograph Durdle Door ;) Never trust the weather forecast. One tutor liked my image - thats because he wasn't aware of the place :eek: The other tutor hated it :D and much preferred my Pembrokeshire image. He's my tutor for next year but think he is the tutor to get the best out of me.

Stari Most was my main main reason for going, growing up was a kid and seeing the bridge destroyed on the news I just knew that one day I would go. We stayed with a family who made us feel very welcome, i'll never forget their hospitality. But the scenery is just wow, weaving our way through the valleys and the road to Sarajevo, you can see the city from miles back, it just one long straight road that takes you to the centre.

We went in 1988 before the troubles, but when I go back will stay on the mainland next time.

The scenery is stunning. When we went to Stari Most, along the river we went into a house from the main street (I think it was a house) and you had to take off your shoes and leave them outside. I can't remember what it was called.

What I do remember Westie, is the view, but the house was really high up over the river and only supported on a couple of stilks.

    Has this been mentioned?

Done a C&C for this afternoon (5pm) and have been e-mailed twice this afternoon, once to say it's being picked then again to confirm it has been picked AND showing me all subs and unavailables and what I've ordered...! It's an e-mail receipt pre-collection.

    New system it seems.

Good morning ..feeling good after a great nights sleep gonna have a catch up now and then hair dyeing today ready for a hairdresser visit tomorrow to get it cut ..very :money:doing it this way

I always do my colouring myself, then get my hair cut when down in Portsmouth as my friend Kit has a lady come in to cut hers so we get ours done together these days. I say I do the colouring myself, but actually most often my friend Steve does it, sometimes aided by Kit. Two days before Steve and Andy's wedding in June, Steve did mine a cherry black using Ovia, under strict instructions to do sides first, use nozzle to get to the roots in sections, make sure everything is covered as going from natural dark mousey/grey. Sat for 30 mins then went into bathroom to finish off and I looked in mirror, realising immediately that I had no colour on my hair. Yes, I realised that I had mixed the developer with the coditioner instead of the colour - so all I had was a very deep condition treatment :rotfl: :rotfl:

Next day, I went over to their's again, bought another colouring pack, and he did it again, properly and it turned out great. Drove back over to Kits and Clair came to cut our hair and she said he had dome a fantastic job. and it looked fantastic when cut into messy/spikey style. Really pleased with it. But problem of these darker colours is that they tend to run. Picture me, the next day at wedding wiping orangey/red streaks from my neck and around ears as I got hot and sweated (which I do) and having to put towel over my pillow at night, and having an orange streaked towel after shower

And then when we stayed up at caravan a couple of weeks ago, we went to John Lewis to do the Tempur Challenge (fab travel pillow from the challenge only took one week to come) and I got up from the first bed to find a lovely white tempur pillow smeared pink  I put my scarf over pillow for other beds and ran before salesman came back :rotfl: :rotfl:
