I've done an online quote with what I know to be an expensive company and it was £66, we have one or two contacts in cab firms so would probably get it cheaper. I would prefer an hotel but we would still have the train fare on top. DD used to drive us until she got a Vauxhall Adam, don't think she would get us and the cases in :eek:

My p and m were asking for prices from the taxis already at the airport - I'm sure local taxis could get much better deals. I picked them up instead in my really small car ( I only live 30 mins away) but we put some of the cases on the car seats, and it was no problem at all.

Hope you get it sorted. Gatwick's the best airport in the London area IMHO.
