:hello:
The whole cucumber has dropped off against M too:( - seems like the system has lost a lot of fruit and veg.:
1x ASDA Grower's Selection Cucumber (EACH) £0.42 N/A
However, they pick up the Braeburn Apples:mad:. (They cast the net here far too wide for my liking and pick the apples up even though, as far as I'm aware, they aren't specifically marked with their weight in M.)
1x ASDA Grower's Selection Braeburn Apples (600G) £1.25 £1.47
All was alright though, as it was from a womble that gave over £3 against Sains.:
5x Muller Light Fat Free Strawberry Yogurt (175G) £2.75 £1.50
which I really needed:T as I've not been getting much at all of late and often not even managing to get £1.50 from them. I need bigger, more expensive:( shops to get bigger APGs back and, when all you've got is wombles that are little tiddlers, it's no good:(.
:rotfl:
I suppose I could put in my own cash of course:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl:.0 -

I am on a roll, and should keep saying my wombles are rubbish, as it's a further £4 against Sains.:j:j:T. The shop would also have been £2.76 APG against M.
Basically, vs S, a lot of items that are around the same price at both A and S and thus not 10% cheaper. Helped a lot by some items that are more expensive in the first place, and similar price elsewhere, including S, so the 10% those items contribute is greater:
Almost £1.60 from these for example:
2x Cow & Gate Growing Up Milk Powder Formula (900G) £15.96 £16.00
Because 10% of nice high £16 is lot better than if it had been an item costing £1.
Also these:
1x Pampers Sensitive Unscented Baby Wipes Multipack (12X56) £10.00 £10.00
A further pound (a bit to be lost elsewhere - although in actual fact much of the shop not 10% cheaper so added to more so rather than lost).
Unfortunately, this isn't £6 at S, or even a worse £13 so it don't even give £1.30 - let alone: I would have loved if S had it and put it on some stupid offer like £6 as of course that would have been £7 APG contributor plus :(60p in 10%:rotfl::
1x Pampers Baby Dry Nappies Size 6 Giga Pack (Extra Large) 15+Kg (92PK) £13.00 N/A
Thankfully this isn't available at £3.30 in S:
1x Comfort Creations Fabric Conditioner Snapdragon & Patchouli 33 Washes (1.16L) £2.00 N/A
But, then again,
1x Comfort Creations Fabric Conditioner Cherry Blossom & Sweetpea 33 Washes (1.16L) £2.00 £2.00
In fact there was not much vs S where A were more than 10%. Just an Iceberg Lettuce, and frozen veg. not a good idea vs S:
1x ASDA Frozen for Freshness Mixed Vegetables (1KG) £1.00 £1.20
1x ASDA Frozen for Freshness Cauliflower Florets (1KG) £1.00 £1.20
And this:
1x ASDA Chosen By You Rice Snaps (440G)
£1.20:rotfl: £1.50
V. expensive rice cereal. As opposed to old 600g pack that I managed to get at £1, which I thought was quite good, but probably wasn't as I bet they went even cheaper after that but, by then, totally OOS in my store so £1 was the best price I managed to obtain for them - although I also managed a whoopsied 600g box from M at 75p. So, v.v.expensive cereal indeed at £1.20 for 440g!
So, quite a bit overcharged and given less. The M box was just a bit battered but, otherwise, completely and totally fine.
Vs M
1x Tic Tac Fresh Mints (18G) £0.60 £0.46
Did these go up from 40p?
There were a few items on which A are cheaper but not by 10% so they themselves contribute to the APG (vs S), although most of the items that compare are around same price or cheaper at S and thus none of them 10% cheaper:T.0 -

And another one:D, this time nearly another £4 against T.
I do like those more expensive items in the first place.
1x Triple Distilled Vodka (1L) £14.50 £14.50
Plus, maybe not for us:
1x Colmans White Sauce Mix (25G) £0.80 £0.74
1x ASDA Grower's Selection Cauliflower (EACH) £0.95 £0.69
1x Caffrey's Premium Irish Ale (4X440) £4.50 £3.50
So, Mr T cheaper. Not much comparable on this shop either, which can help.
Vs T or W:
1x ASDA Grower's Selection White Potatoes (2.5KG) £1.19 N/A:T
As of yesterday when this shop was done.
Of course these were around 29p around Easter, so v.v.expensive potatoes now:rotfl:. However, in the light of similar prices elsewhere (e.g. Aldi and T Eday or the new version to which T seem to have changed), it may be helpful for someone that literally only has an A available to them. I don't know if you can get these in the smaller supermarkets so may be no good if you only have a supermarket available to you.
However, in the absence of being available to find any 12.5Kg bags at £2 in M anymore - that may be now off, who ever can know when I've been unable to find any anywhere in the first place? - my default option at the moment has been the 5Kg Eday bags in Aldi at £1.99.
As for A, that's nearly £12 in less than a hour now, and I still have some more to go. My original shop only cost me around £6 in the first place and gave over £2 back and I went there, grumbling about having to use four wombles as they were all of lower value. The new ones back are just what I found on my way in and way out, not even at the busiest time of the day today, and not even done trips and there and back to find any more. So, with hindsight, I think it was a good idea to go and do a small £6 A shop at A today:rotfl:.0
