We've now been invited to the wedding evening do of one of DH's colleagues - he barely knows her and I've never met her. Anyway, I've made a card but wonder whether they would think we are just complete cheapskates or would it be acceptable? All thoughts welcome

Good morning, knowing what it costs to make a card I think it should be very appreciated, my dd makes cards and they can a lot more expensive than a bought one.🙂

And to be fair handmade/homemade doesnt actually always work out cheaper than popping to clintons or where ever and just buying one.

I also think that if a person is going to keep any cards...it's their wedding cards they keep going forward in a box as a bit of an extra reminder of the day.

I also doubt very much that if HG makes a card it will be the only handcrafted one received......

Although HG might not know the individuals she's making for adding even the date of the wedding to the card would be a lovely touch
