Morning all, well our few days of glorious if slighly chilly sunshine have been followed by a smidegeon of overnight rain - as Mr Wogan would have said thank god that's summer over with and now we can get back to normal :rotfl:
Walking back up the garden last night and talking to Errant son - 2 things I cant do simultaneously talk and walk - I don't know how people manage to drive and use a mobile - I was trying to navigate the path which Errant son had turned into an obstacle course with a variety of buckets and big pots so inevitable I put my food into a big bucket and went a over t. So I now have a shiny purple right leg from inside knee to ankle where I tried to restore my dignity - it would be hilarious if it wasn't painful.
So no sundresses for me even if I could wear them - jeans and maxis for the foreseeable future“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

On the lappie she is sideways on, with the Japanese thingy upside down.
Looks like she is clinging to a bed that is mounted on the wall :rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Hello
Where have you been? also another good idea
Morning Bubbs, morning all!
I have been busy with family and with work and still sorting the spare room. All my sewing stuff is now nicely on the new shelves and I have been cutting boxes down to size to fit neatly. Very proud of self! Now I just want to get the sewing machine out to cover some of them so that it looks pretty too. But I did go to A yesterday to pick up my C&C (v S):
10x Gillette Venus Embrace 5 Blade Razor & Shower Holder (each)£95.00£75.00
1x Ryvita Fruit Crunch Crispbread (200g)£1.59£1.00
1x ASDA Smart Price Sliced Mushrooms in Water (285g)£0.38£0.58
1x ASDA Butcher's Selection Unsmoked Gammon Joint (750g)£3.75£2.501x ASDA Butcher's Selection Smoked Gammon Joint (750g)£3.75£2.50
Thanks to the OP for the gammon. I am sorry, I can't remember who it was. I won't repeat the mushrooms!
I am going to have to find another store as SA remembered me from the last time and had already rejected the sharpies before she saw me! She had looked on the shelf just in case they were there.
APG was just over £30. I've removed fillers.0 -
Good morning all, little duller and cooler this morning but hey ho it could be worse.
LEJC sorry to hear you've had a tough few days, hope you are now out the other side of this particular tunnel.0 -
a pet hate is this - when you email or message a company with a query and they just reply with a cut and paste response having not even bothered to read your query.
Waitrose are usually very good at responding to queries via messaging them via their FB thread so I asked them this morning if they stocked the Fuel Quark pouches in our little Waitrose - the ones on shoppimum.
I got a reply thanking me for my suggestion and it would be passed onto their buyers team - what???
Obviously a cut and paste reply
So I've tried again
I also noticed that up and go are new on COS this morning which was coincidental after talking about them earlier in the week. But you have to get them from Sainsbury's where they are £1.20 - 80p or £1 in Asda and Tesco.
So I am not.
I drew down on my COS accounts this week so the balances all stand at £0
Annoyed I missed the one day wonder of the kettle chips - I even had a conditional spend to use but it was the day I was out this week. Pity really as these would have been good for the food bank collection.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Drizzly rain here today seeing as I am waiting for a delivery, don't want muddy boots walked in doors so it will have to be left in hall and Mr TS will have to deal with it later...0 -
