afternoon all, sunny outside but still a little chilly

Just uploaded my shopprize receipts for the day. OHs account had a temp ban on it - temp since mid April  Ive emailed them a few times to ask for the ban to be removed. They said though it was automatic and I had to wait until the number of acceptable receipts equalled the number of bad ones - there was only ever 2 bad receipts in April and one went through in May as a duplicate but I am convinced this happened when it said 'failed to upload' So I did the snaps again and the coins added but with no notification so I wasn't sure which receipt had actually gone through.

Today though as I was uploading when the nasty red exclamation mark finally disappeared :j I was up to over 20 k - so I claimed two £5 Amazon gift certs. Sadly neither have appeared in OHs inbox yet
I should really have screen shot everything as I went along but I was working on OHs phone which is different to mine
So now I am convinced I wont get the Amazon gift certs at all

Ive messaged them but as they have not been helpful over the last month I cant see them being helpful now either ...

He is still eating like there is no tomorrow and we are constantly running out of the basics and now most of my back stock has gone. Some meals really work well like pasta bake, steak and ale pie, mince and potatoes, roast chicken.
Things like pizza night don't as it is just not filling.

Mhoc, surely your son likes good old Staffordshire Oatcakes quick and easy filled with cheese etc.
    Only 69p in b&m.
    Lovely and filling.

    Morning peeps.

this is an excellent idea - added to the list, very good for supper snacks. He eats quite a lot of white toast, not sure wether this is really a good idea health wise but he just burns it up.

We just did the (now weekly) Aldi big shop (formally we stretched it to at least every 10 days) I didn't think we needed that much apart from Bran Flakes and cat food but I got more pears, oranges and bananas which we seem to be always running out of, also sliced sandwich meat so Errant son has a variety of things to make sandwiches from - I had to get things like garlic sausage and baked ham which I've not bought in years as the emphasis is now on quantity rather than quality again. I also got a nice dinner for OH and myself, lime and ginger chicken and nice yogurts as Errant son wont be back until very late so he is having beans and chicken mushroom pasties for quickness.
    Another £27 spent :(

My last voucher off them took a few hours.

Hope Mr Dol is starting to feel a bit better Sarah x
    Fingers crossed for Errant Son.

Last day of our holiday tomorrow. Can't believe how quickly it's gone. An English newspaper was delivered to our room this morning so we've just been catching up with the news about the French election.
