The last few months with all the worry of DD2 I have been comfort eating loads, I'm still stressed about her being abroad alone so not sure how I will do but the same dress has doubled in price on Debs so I need to get into it.

Oh TS I know it's so hard not to worry about our children even when they are grown up. Your DD2 seems to be very sensible and has a good head on her shoulders, I am sure she will be fine.
I tend to comfort eat especially in the evening. We will have to look to bubbs for inspiration :A

I am guessing your DD2 is on the last hurdle does she have dissertation due in this summer that was DD2 last year with her Masters degree. One thing they don't have to do with a medicine degree, thankfully. Fingers crossed all goes well for her. x

Fortunately I am the other way with stress I have to be in control of something so I do my low carb diet and it not only makes me lose weight but it makes me feel better. I have lost a stone of the 1.5 stone I have put on since last year and I too have a family wedding in August and want to get back into my dresses.

Thank you TS. Yes not quite sure if it is a dissertation as such, she just calls it her big project and it is due in in August. Last friday was her last day in Uni but she has to carry on with her placements on the Ambulance until then. Nerve wracking times:eek:

I enquired last night if I could join the sw thread that tweets and bubbs post on.
I thought it may motivate me to post my loss on there rather than record it just for me in my diary.
The blame and shame is all mine!

So Sarahdol, TS and Nellie are also inspired by tweets and bubbs as well as me. I bet you lot are all twigs anyway.......

My arms and legs could be twigs but my middle is like a dumpling at the moment. :rotfl:

The best weight loss for me is to cut out all the carbs, but I seem to be relying on them at the moment. :o I did have some success couple of years ago before my holiday doing the 5:2 diet, lost about a stone which is what I would like to do again but time is a lot tighter I did it in just over 3 months then I think.

Last year I half heatedly before our holiday did the Joe Wicks recipes with DD in the evening, high protein and that worked for some weight loss. I wasn't doing the exercises with it so didn't do the lunch plans.

Tweets has done amazingly to keep all the weight off and bubbs is doing so well, especially as it is such a big change to lifestyle for her. :A

    :)

First customer was Harmonica Man
I was warned about him, gave a hard luck story to an assistant, needed to sell his Father's harmonica to be able to get electricity, so assistant just donated him £5
He comes in again, next day different assistant - same story, they gave him £3....
3rd day with another assistant - same story - they give him £5

:o:o:o Weekly meeting - oh dear. Plus he is a known alcoholic :o

Anyway, I've busied myself - Hoovered all the cobwebs from fairy lights around shop & loo, till the cordless run out :)

    Sold a football rattle, a postcard & a necklace ....

    Friends are calling in :)
