"Hi, I am currently busy with a project. I'm making Blessing Bags and will be filling them with much needed goodies for cancer patients in our local areas.
I would really appreciate any fabric you can part with that is
suitable to make tote bags. Off cuts can also work as I can make patch work bags too. Your help will be so much appreciated, thank you in advance"

    :)
Message on Freegle - I've filled 3 bin bags of fabric - She is calling today to collect, and now I can fit my suitcases under the bed :Dknew there was a good reason for my hoarding fabric :o

In the meantime I have been struggling with a wretched raw throat and tickly cough since Thursday but Finally today I can give into it and the lemsip is brewing.

    Mostly been AWOL all weekend.

Eldest son and GF finally finished their lease on the Brum flat on Friday. Gf still has a week of work to do but she is staying with a friend this week.
Eldest son is still at his base near Bristol, more driving course to do this week and masses of paperwork but he is hoping to get it all completed this week. He has to book an inspection of his quarters before they can be signed off.
If all goes to plan next weekend is officially their move in date for the new place.

So both of them have been with us this weekend - mince and tatties Friday, salad Saturday and sausage and mash Sunday :)
GF MOTd her car on Saturday morning and then they went to play badminton and then we went to our nearest National Trust place for the afternoon. Sunday was mostly out in the garden and then an early dinner as Eldest son was driving back down south and GF was going back to Brum.

So a lovely quiet weekend was had by all

And how dare I ask is Errant son getting on!?

    well .......

On a day to day basis he is still keeping busy and seems motivated

There is still some challenges - minor things like yet more stuff coming out of the big van - I think its a tardis. At some point today Ive got to encourage him to clear the dining room table of the various boxes, plus the stuff on the coffee table and the big yellow holdall ... it could descrnd into a shambles very quickly.
Also things like there is a set of drawers in the middle of the dining room with about 10 various sizes used for various stationary things - envlopes of various descriptions, files, folders, scirrors, sellotape etc I went through these a few months back, downsizing, reorganizing, some plastics and paper recycled etc. I ended up with several empty drawers. Now Errant son is randomly shoving random rubbish and paperwork into these drawers - odd receipts, plastic lids, pens etc, no rhyme or reason.
So Ive rounded all this carp up into one drawer for now.
The constant eating is also very draining. I think we are back on 2 hourly feeds now.
I have only totally gone bat sh*** with him twice - well once really but the 2nd time was really with OH who does not really comprehend what is going on. Most of his day is as normal, going to work and coming back again, most things are sorted out long before he strolls back in the house.
