OK, a perhaps slightly strange question.

I am hoping to decorate the kitchen shortly, once OH has plastered the holes in the ceiling.

What i want to do is change the beading around the worktops, I would like something different, preferably plastic to keep maintenance low. Does anyone know if this is available, I have been looking so long I am seeing beading in my sleep.

It needs to be roughly triangular, it is basically to fill the corner between the worktop and tiles to stop water etc getting down the back.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

I'm not sure if beading is still something that is "in fashion"....nowadays its all sealant in the gaps or people opt for upstands.

You used to be able to go to tile shops and get edging for kitchens and round the edge of baths but I think they are not as commercially available as they used to be

most of the diy places tend to now do the range of sealants in colours so you can match the work top to the wall or tiles...I'm just wondering if a tile place might still sell something suitable?
